Ghost Tick: Monster Ch.8The night in that hotel was quiet. After a little bit of convincing, Illiana eventually decided that I wasn`t sick, and finally went to bed.All that night I sat across the room awake, gazing out of the window at the city below. Every now and then I would take that tiny rock out from my pocket and gaze at it. It glowed in the darkness, almost as if it had a pulse. It was truly disturbing to think how more of that meteorite was stuck inside of me. "We`re here now."However, she didn't move. She simply just let out an exhausted groan and turned over on her other side, facing away from me.
